I was excited to find this deviled egg carrier....until I realized there were NO instructions for how to use it. I have two college degrees and could not figure out how to keep the one layer of eggs from squashing the other.
Ok.. I came on to the website for some better instructions on the deviled egg carrier as it appeared the top tray does sit on and crush the bottom layer but unfortunately did not find anything but another bad review.
After some brainstorming, I put the bottom tray on top of the bottom tray, and it doesnt crush the eggs. Hoping this helps someone else out there, as it wasn't real clear, anywhere on the package.
The Egg Carrier with Ice Pack is a wonderful concept! I thought I had found the answer to carrying a dozen deviled eggs to a pot luck. Then I got home and realized the second tray will sit on top of the first layer of eggs! UGH!! Evidently this wasn't thought through. As because I live so far from the store I have to figure out a way to carry eggs tomorrow without smashing the first layer!
