Cook With Color Floating Rice Cooker, Black

I went back and forth between the colors and landed on black, and it was the right call for my kitchen. If this one ever gave out I would order the same one tomorrow without bothering to look at anything else.

Plenty of cookers make decent rice. Very few of them look like something you would happily leave on a counter. This does both, and after a few months of using it constantly I have no complaints about either half.

I ordered it mostly on looks and expected to trade something away for that. Turns out the clear body is useful as well as nice, because I can check how the batch is doing without letting all the steam out.

It has some weight to it and does not creak or flex when I lift it, which is what I was checking for at this size. The lid sits down properly rather than rattling around loose, and nothing feels thin or hollow.

The outside stays clean with one pass of a damp cloth, and the glass does not hold a cloudy film the way I feared it might. It has kept looking presentable sitting out on the counter, which was my main worry.
