It does one job and it does it properly for less than the cost of the ingredients inside it. Stores flat, holds firm, cleans easily. If it disappeared tomorrow I would order the same one again without looking at anything else.

The handle pivots on chunky moulded posts rather than thin clips, so it does not feel like it will snap off mid carry. That was my worry with the folding design. Months of use later there is no play in it at all.

I have the rectangular version as well and the two sit together in the cupboard with both handles folded. Between them I can bring a cake and a tray of cupcakes in one trip. They have made hosting duty much simpler.

I started baking properly this year and this was the cheapest way to stop ruining cakes on the way to people. It has taught me that the transport matters as much as the bake. I would recommend it to anyone starting out.

Our lab can reach the counter and a cake left out was fair game. Under a latched dome he has no chance, and he has certainly tried. That peace of mind alone has been worth the ten dollars several times over already.
